Our History

Maharaja Jai Singh ΙΙ (1700-1743 A.D.) Popularly Known as Sawai Jai Singh, his renaissance personality helped Jaipur to emerge as a city with many a facet.

A man of highly refined taste, it was he who invited the SURANAS to Jaipur in acknowledgement of the family's dedication to the kundan art form and their ability in designing timeless pieces of art.

As time passed, the city emerged as an unrivalled centre for Kundan and Meenakari, exhibiting artistic vigour and proficiency.

As for the SURANAS, they became pioneers of the craft, and are today regarded as creators of the finest traditional Mughal jewellery.
